I can’t believe this summer is nearly over.  I have decided to dub Summer of 2009 The Summer of Surprises (instead of what most people are calling it: The Summer of Death).  I don’t know about you, but my longest days of the year have been full of ‘em.  Some surprises indescribably great and some that nearly knocked the wind out of me.
